Dropbox Bandwidth Settings

Dropbox is a great tool, however when uploading multiple files, it can sometimes slow your internet connection down significantly. In order to avoid this, you can change the settings for how much bandwidth Dropbox will use. This feature only works on desktop versions of the program. By default, the uploading will be set to an auto bandwidth mode. In order to change this, simply right click on the Dropbox in the task bar, then click preferences. Go to the Bandwidth tab and choose how much bandwidth you would like to allocate for Dropbox. If you do not already have an idea of how much bandwidth you get, you might want to consider contacting your Internet Service Provider (i.e Verizon, AT&T, AOL).
